Print Preview and Changes
I would like to keep the print preview window visible while I make
changes to the underlying worksheet. As the changes are made they would be reflected in the document in print preview. Is this possible? Thanks, Kelly |

Is this possible? Hi Kelly, No, this isn't possible. You can think of Print Preview as sort of a separate program within Excel that uses the printer driver of the currently active to take a snapshot of what your worksheet will look like when it's printed. The only changes that will be reflected once the Print Preview window is open are page setup changes. There is a view called Page Break Preview (use the Tools/Page Break Preview menu to switch to it) that shows you how the layout will be paginated. You can change the worksheet in this view just like in normal view, but it's not a true preview of what the printed worksheet will look like other than where the page breaks will be located. -- Rob Bovey, Excel MVP Application Professionals http://www.appspro.com/ * Take your Excel development skills to the next level. * Professional Excel Development http://www.appspro.com/Books/Books.htm |

No.
Maybe using PageBreak View under setup will suffice. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "scorpion53061" wrote in message ... Hi Tom,
How can I switch back to "normal" view from Print Preview? Do you think I can alternate on each change the user makes without the app being annoying "Tom Ogilvy" wrote in message : No. Maybe using PageBreak View under setup will suffice. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "scorpion53061" wrote in message ...
