ID 860 PLEASE HELP
Hi,
Can someone please help me? I have the following showform query in VB: Goto Reference:="DataTable" ActiveSheet.ShowDataForm Application.CommandBars(1).FindControl(Id:=860, recursive:=True).Execute The problem is the date. When the form comes up if the user mouse clicks into the cell, the date stays as dd/mm/yy as a space is put in front of it. However, if the user tabs, there is no space and the date is correct. I think it may have something to do with the ID 860 specifying the date is dd/mm/yy. Is there an ID which will bring the date up as dd-mmm-yy? Any help appreciated! I am dying over here! Thanks, Leanne |
ID 860 PLEASE HELP
Your actually showing the dataform twice.
Sub AA() Application.Goto Reference:="DataTable" ActiveSheet.ShowDataForm End Sub should be sufficient. If your data doesn't start in one of cells A1:B2, then you need to name your DataTable to DataBase. I couldn't reproduce any space problem in a date field. It appears the form uses the specified short date format to display the data. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Leanne" wrote in message ... Hi, Can someone please help me?
