Excel Macros do not work with Outlook Web Access
Hello,
When my users use Microsoft's Outlook and open an Excel workbook, they lose the ability to use the macros & other VB that is in the workbook. Is there anyway for us to be able to have both (Outlook Web Access & use macros/VB in Excel)? Thanks for your advice. Mike |

What do you mean by 'lose the ability'? I think we need more info to go
on.....Do you mean when they open a workbook from Outlook mail, or just when both are running? Tell us more and I'm sure someone will know.. |
Excel Macros do not work with Outlook Web Access
Hi there,
After the Excel file opens and I try to run a macro, a warning dialog box opens and says that the macro can not be found. It seems that it actually opens the workbook in Internet Explorer and that might be the cause of the problem. Any ideas? thanks, Mike "OJ" wrote: What do you mean by 'lose the ability'? Hi,
Try deleting the .XLS file association with Internet Explorer. You can do this by going to Windows Explorer ToolsFolderOptions. Click on the File Types Tab and scroll down to XLS. When you highlight it it should say Opens With Excel. Hth, OJ |
