Userform height not consistent?
Using Excel 2000 to 2003.
Have a userform where the height seems to show differently on different machines. I say show because the actual figures are always the same. The height of this form is 312. Then there is a Treeview with a Top of 46 and a Height of 312. Then there is a frame with a Top of 361 and a Height of 36. Now the difference is in the bit of the form below the frame, so between the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the Userform. On one machine (Windows XP, Excel 2002) this bit is fine, but on another machine (Windows 2000, Excel 2003) this edge is a bit too big, by about 5 points. When you look at the figures though it should be fine as these are the same on both machines. Is this a known problem or is there something strange going one here? Thanks for any advice. RBS |
Userform height not consistent?
I have certainly had a problem in resizing dynamically that doesn't
necessarily show all the controls fully on some machines. I have just learnt to leave plenty of 'wiggle room'. -- HTH RP (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "RB Smissaert" wrote in message ... Using Excel 2000 to 2003. OK, so this is a known problem.
It is just that this is the first time I have come across it and I have dealt with userforms on different machines a lot. Apart from as you say leaving plenty of wiggle room there isn't much you can do about it as according to the figures all is fine. Would there be a way to detect what is going on with the Windows API? Probably not as most (or all?) Userform controls are not windows. RBS "Bob Phillips" wrote in message ...
