Formatting Comments

For some reason, the format on all my cell comments appears in a large bold
font. I'd like to de-bold and make the font size smaller. I do not know
how to edit this. EXCEL help says to choose comments from the format menu,
but, if they mean the format dropdown, I see no such thing there.

Help, please. Editing this manually is a pain!

Thanks!
Dean

I want to reformat all text, even including my name, which appears at the
beginning. I figured out how to do this except for the name. Can the name
not be done?

Before answering, let me clarify. Yes, I am successful, even with the name,
when doing an individual cell. It;'s just that when I go to insert another
comment, the change does not get saved as a "global" desired change within
the worksheet - and that's what I want. In other words, I can also change
the font for my name "Dean:". but only for the cell being edited, not all
cells to begin with.

Thanks!
Dean

Those are both interesting, but I'm not sure if the former helps my problem.
And I'm not sure if the latter allows me to include my name along with the
text of my comment, both in the same reduced font size and debolded. For
now, it looks like I cannot change the default for the font and size of my
name (Dean:) at the beginning of the comment, which I do want to have. Do
you know if that can be done, hopefully without a macro?

Thanks!

Dean

Maybe this

http://www.contextures.com/xlcomments02.html#User
Delete the name

And include your name in the text
