Command buttons moving in Excel
I have a couple of Excel spreadsheets with command buttons attached to
macros. When I save the spreadsheet and re-open it, the command buttons have moved. They actually end up on top of one another. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to prevent it? I am running Excel XP, SP3. |

If the problem is related to using Print Preview, it is a bug introduced in
SP3. It was fixed in the Oct 12, 2004 Security path (although this article does not mention it): http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;873366 -- Jim Rech Excel MVP "Tharkaway" wrote in message ... |I have a couple of Excel spreadsheets with command buttons attached to | macros. Controls move to the left of the worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2002 But Jim Rech recently posted this: This article is now obsolete. Since the 10/12/2004 security patch there is no need to get a hotfix (although this article does not directly mention this fix, it's in there). http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;832332 But a few have posted that it didn't work in all workbooks. Thanks for the quick reply. That solved the problem. I also found a
workaround for the issues. Under the "Format Control | Properties" page for the control, select the "Move and size with cells" rather than the defautl "Move but don't size with cells."
