Application.MemoryFree
Is there a way to determine absolutely how much memory an
operation requires to perform properly? - So that Application.MemoryFree could be used to skip an operation when memory is not sufficient. If not - what is the usefulness of Application.MemoryFree? TIA Mike |

Application.MemoryFree
As far as I know, there is no way to determine how much memory a
certain operation will utilize. Application.MemoryFree isn't a very useful function. Its primary use, it seems to me, to be in producing diagnostic dumps when something goes wrong. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Mike Archer" wrote in message ...
