file now available for editing
What can possibly cause this message?
I have test.xls file. There is also another file test2.xls and this file contains Excel macro which opens Access database which contains Access macro that imports test.xls file. After this excel macro continues and closes the test.xls and Excel. After little while from this "file now available for editing" appears meaning the test.xls file. -- -Sam |

Sounds like you had a command that tries to open it when it is not
available. Maybe you should modify your commands to open it readonly. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Sam" wrote in message ... What can possibly cause this message? I have test.xls file.
