PERSONAL.XLS times 2
Ian
When you have :1 it means you have two windows for the same workbook. Closing one should not close the other. You should be able to close one of the windows, then save the workbook. Do you have some code in the ThisWorkbook module or one of the sheet modules that's closing the workbook? -- Dick Kusleika Excel MVP Daily Dose of Excel www.dicks-blog.com PCOR wrote: When I bring up EXCEL I end up with TWO files PERSONAL.XLS:1 and PERSONAL.XLS:2 If I close one the other one also closes This never occurred before.
