Importing external data
 

How do I insert an entire row beyond the data range when importing external
data? My problem is the adjacent data does not get a row inserted. The data
range properties appear to only insert an entire row within the data range.

Click on the Data Range Properties button on the External Data Toolbar.
There are three option buttons near the bottom. Select the one that says
"Insert entire rows..."
