Unable to embed control - Microsoft Map is no longer supported?
When attempting to add a control to a worksheet, the string
=EMBED("MSMap.8","") appears in the edit area at the top of the Excel screen and I get a popup message saying "Microsoft Map is no longer supported with Microsoft Excel". This is with Excel 2002 SP 1. I tried TOOLS - CUSTOMIZE - Control Toolbox - RESET but it made no difference. I also tried renaming Excel10.xlb in case some earlier customisation had an effect. This also made no difference. I'm at a bit of a loss to know what makes my corporate system any different from those of my colleagues who don't have the same problem. Any ideas? Regards, John M |
