Buttons work (but don't work in a cell)
Hi,
For a long time, I know a button doesn't work when the user is inputting in a cell. However, Excel has some buttons that do work: the buttons for text-formatting like bold, italic,... Is there a possibility to make a button work even when you are inputting in a cell or can my problem be solved in another way? My problem is: I would like to give to the user a list of text-fragments (so when clicking on eg. a listbox, the text comes where the cursor is in the cell at that moment). But clicking on the button is not possible (you get a beep). Thanks Jos Vens |

Jos,
You would need to use a custom userform with a textbox for input, and buttons/listboxes, etc. with code to be able to do something like that. HTH, Bernie MS Excel MVP "Jos Vens" wrote in message ...
