Add In target directories
I just created an Add-in. When I saved the the xls file
as an xla file, Excel automatically saved it in C\Douments and Setting\My name\Application Data\Microsoft\Add Ins I am trying to update the XLA but cannot seem to find this directory in My Computer. Perhaps there is limited access to the folder through my IS department. Although I was able to create the XLA in the folder from Excel. Is it possible to convert the XLA file back to an XLS file so that I can make the changes, and then save it back to an XLA file (in Excel) which will then be automatically saved in the directory above? |
