Two big size excel file
Dear Sir/Madam
Currenty I have big problem for my excel file processing. My computer specific is 2.5Ghz / 1G Ram made by Dell My excel file is around 70 M size. (Rows are about 4,2000 and columns are 20) The reason why it is so big is that it includes some tariff. In excel file , there is lookup function. My problem is that whenever I process my excel file especially running some lookup function, my computer says "Memory is full" So I don't know how to manage my excel file without interrupting. Do I have to buy more upgraded PC (for example 3.47 GHz and 1.5G Ram)? Pls advise me any idea. -- Kind regards S.Y Kim |

What version Excel? Probably better off trying to improve the efficiency of your formulas if possible, and if that still doesn't cut it perhaps consider upgrading to Excel 2003. Your hardware should be plenty good enough. Give us an example of your Lookup formulas. -- Regards Ken.......................
