File get bigger when I save in excel

I have a workbook in excel 2003. But the size of my file is about 4mb
and I don't have anything that is suppose to get the file so big. I
have 7 sheet and some vba code. Anyone know how to get the file
smaller ? When i test on my excel 2000 machine, it seems to save the
file a little bit smaller...about 400k

Any idea ?

That has a few good ideas (the key one being incorrect, however), but I
would go here first (plus you don't run into all the advertisements).
