How do I know if macros I write will work in traditional or simplied Chinese
versions of Excel? Is there a difference?

That depends on what your macros do. Can you give more detailed information?

Thanks. Mostly macros to produce different types of charts (line, scatter,
etc) and to do some simple repetitive calculations.

I don'rt see any problems. it's when you need to tefer to things by name
that you start to get problems. Inserting functions froma macro can be
problematic.
