Trial version
Hi!
Excel 2000. I want to send a trial version of an excel workbook to a client. The workbook depends on a lot of macro code so the client has to activate macros or the file will be useless. I want the trial period to expire one month after my client uses the workbook for the first time. How can I accomplish this? Regards PO |

Not easy, because Excel's security is weak.
One way would be to create a DLL that the Excel workbook uses and will not work without, and add some licensing/trial checking software to that DLL. There are 3rd party utilities for doing this. -- HTH RP (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "PO" <po wrote in message ... Hi! Excel 2000. Bob,
Can you post some links to 3rd Party util? I'd like to try this. Thanks "Bob Phillips" wrote: Not easy, because Excel's security is weak.
