Pivot Table
I am brand new to pivot tables. I just created one and it looks like it has
all kinds of potential. I dropped a couple columns in the data field in the wizard. Then under field settings it lets me pick sum or count etc. I want a custome formula here. Like a SumIf tied to a value in another cell some place else. |
Pivot Table
Hi scrabtree
you can add multiple fields into the column & row sections and filter for the items (by clicking on the drop down arrows) you want to see - this generally gives the same benefits as the sumif type criteria - the page field can be used to give an overall filter. does this help at all or do you need to use other formulas (btw, calculated fields can be entered by choosing pivot table / formulas / calculated fields from the pivot table toolbar) Cheers JulieD "scrabtree23" wrote in message ...
