Can't set Excel Options

Hi everyone,
When I delete a folder I do not need anymore from my computer, I can no
longer change tabs in the Options dialog. I get the message:
Can't access the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My
documents\Deleted folder name".
That folder is empty and is not refered to in the options.

What could it be?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Can't set Excel Options

Why do I get no answer? Is that a to difficult problem to solve or what?

It seems to me that this problem relates to Excel internal settings. Here is
another try on the problem description:

I once set a specific folder to be the default folder for Excel files. This
folder is no longer needed and I want to delete it. But when I do, I get an
error message saying that the folder cannot be accessed.

Can it be some registry settings? I do not know. I would like to get some
advice from someone.

Thank you.

Can't set Excel Options

Hi everyone,

I found the problem by myself. I searched the registry and found the folder
name. I changed the key nameto "My documents" and it works fine now.

The registry key is:

HKEY_CURENT_USER/SOftware/Microsoft/Office/11.0/Excel/Options

Hoping this may help someone.
