Can't set Excel Options
Hi everyone,
When I delete a folder I do not need anymore from my computer, I can no longer change tabs in the Options dialog. I get the message: Can't access the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My documents\Deleted folder name". That folder is empty and is not refered to in the options. What could it be? Thanks to anyone who can help. -- Jac Tremblay |
Can't set Excel Options
Why do I get no answer? Is that a to difficult problem to solve or what?
It seems to me that this problem relates to Excel internal settings. Here is another try on the problem description: I once set a specific folder to be the default folder for Excel files. This folder is no longer needed and I want to delete it. But when I do, I get an error message saying that the folder cannot be accessed. Can it be some registry settings? I do not know. I would like to get some advice from someone. Thank you. Can't set Excel Options
Hi everyone,
I found the problem by myself. I searched the registry and found the folder name. I changed the key nameto "My documents" and it works fine now. The registry key is: HKEY_CURENT_USER/SOftware/Microsoft/Office/11.0/Excel/Options Hoping this may help someone.
