Wow - that's a pretty broad question.
I could give you the million line response, or just simply say Excel is a Spreadsheet application Access is a Database application Since both applications give users the ability to manage their data, there is quite a lot of feature overlap. Each application has their strengths depending on the task. Suggest you research the terms Spreadsheet and Database. -- Rob van Gelder - http://www.vangelder.co.nz/excel "Blackattack22" wrote in message ... i need to know about excel the software and what it is good for. also i need to know why/if so is Access better than it and what are the differences between the two software. if you could reply as soon as possible it would be much appretiated. thank you, |

As Rob explained answering to your question will be out of scope here.
There are Video Tapes (and now mostly CD / DVDs too), on Excel and Access Tutorials. I would suggest you contact a local MicroSoft dealers and get the Tutorial tapes. These are pretty good for one to learn faster.
