Basic Macros?

Hi, I want to write a macro that will ask the user what new program the user
wants to insert, the % (probability that it will occur) and the $ value. Once
these values are received a row will be added into an existing worksheet and
the values entered in specific columns.

Is there a good source for getting started with macros as I have never used
macros before? Thanks.

Basic Macros?

Reed Jacobson has a tutorial style book called Excel VBA Step by Step

the latest version is for xl2002,

http://www.microsoft.com/MSPress/books/5163.asp
Microsoft® Excel 2002 Visual Basic® for Applications Step by Step

There are some online tutorials. David McRitchie has a listing

David McRitchie's site

the vba tutorials are below the excel tutorials.

This has some good information as well.
