Default pivot table data item

Is there some code out there that will change the values the data area will
show? For example, the data area is in the column area and includes dec-04
to dec-05. Is there some code that I can use that will only choose one of
those months?

I'm not sure. but i figured out another way (cheap way) of getting the info
i want into those cells. I just created a small macro that will copy and
paste a defined name from the second sheet to the first sheet via message
box. It does what I need so i'll jus leave it at that.

thanks a ton tho frank
