sorting multiple rows at once (including merged cells)
I would like to sort groups of rows without undoing all of the merged cells.
Each PO uses 4 rows. I want to assign a building order to tell production which one to build first. The first column (BO a.k.a. building order) is merged into groups of 4 cells (for each PO) The second column is merged for company name. i.e. BO / Company / Product Size _____________________________________ / / 2 x 8 2 / Zippo / 3 x 9 / / 4 x 6 / / 9 x 14 _____________________________________ / / 8 x 10 1 / Primetech / 2 x 9 / / 3 x 7 / / 5 x 9 _____________________________________ When I use the 'SORT' in the first column, it brings primetech to the top...but only the top row of the product size. I need it to bring up all 4. |
