Help with if statement
I'm working on this piece of code without any success. What I need to do is
to check if Cells(DestRow - 1, DestCol + 1).Value = SrcFnd5. If true put the information on that destination column and next empy row Cells(DestRow - 1, DestCol + 1).Value = "" Then 'put information on oRow If Cells(DestRow - 1, DestCol + 1).Value = 'not empy and not equal to SrcFnd5 Then 'put information on oRow The results look like this: Blank Standard 2 Sodium < 20 mg/L Calcium 1099.982 mg/L Copper < 3 mg/L Copper 99.999 mg/L Arsenic < 5 mg/L Arsenic 100.000 mg/L Where Blank and Standard2 are = SrcFnd5 I need to find first the column with the match and then put the information If the row is not empty find next empty row Part of my code: If Cells(DestRow - 1, DestCol + 1).Value = "" Then DestRow = oRow Cells(DestRow - 1, DestCol + 1).Value = SrcFnd5 Else DestRow = DestRow End If Cells(DestRow, DestCol).Value = ActiveCell.Offset(0, -1).Value With Cells(DestRow, DestCol + 1) .Formula = "=" & c.Address(external:=True) .NumberFormat = c.NumberFormat .Interior.ColorIndex = 8 End With Thanks for any help -- gaba :) |
