Does Workbook need to be open to copy to..from vba
I recieve monthly financial summaries by dept in one workbook where each tab
is a dept. I want to distribute to each department by copying each worksheet to an existing workbook that has been created for that dept...at the end of the year there will be 12 tabs/wkbook each named by month. Does the "destination" workbook have to be open or can I copy a worksheet to it by vba...I see examples of getting code to a closed workbook, but not sending to a closed workbook. TIA Excel 2000 |

Darn..that should have said, I've seen code examples of getting data FROM a
closed workbook, but not SENDING a worksheet to a closed workbook "Dale" wrote in message ... I recieve monthly financial summaries by dept in one workbook where each tab is a dept.
