Can't resolve external reference on Excel 2000
Hi,
I have an add-in that references an external ActiveX component. I've made a change to the activeX DLL; the interfaces and method signatures have not changed (GUID's and ID's are the same). After replacing the new ActiveX component (I did not update reference for the add-in), I get a "compile error" when the add-in loads. Opening the add-in and and checking the references did not resolve the problem. I've also tried unregistering the old DLL, registering the new DLL -- still fails. Oddly enough, this only happens on Excel 2000. I don't get the error on Excel 97/2002/2003. Any ideas? Thanks -Robin |
