Get VSTO code to run on every launch of Excel
 

Hi, i have created a VSTO excel application, Is there a way to get it to run
everytime the client runs Excel. Or do i need to redesign the thing to be a
standard add-in? Not sure as this is my first VSTO app.

It's not officially supported, but works fine, if you open your VSTO workbook
in Excel, save it as a normal Excel addin and mark it as installed in the
Tools Addins list. The only caveat is that the VSTO tools don't recognise
the 'xla' extension, so you have to work with the xls all the time, saving it
as an xla each time you do an update.
