Excel 2003 wont recognize UDF written with 2000

The security level setting appears to be the culprit. Thanks for
steering us in the proper direction.

Perhaps lower her Macro Security to "medium".

If at "high", macros are disabled without alerting.

I sent a worksheet to a colleague and when they open it in excel
2003, they get a #NAME error in a cell where I use a UDF I wrote. This
person just got a new computer. Excel 2003 was pre-installed by the
manufacturer.

The UDF is saved in the file in question, in Module1 and is not in an
external file like Personal.xls. This worksheet is shared by many in
my office here and no one has had this problem- the UDF works for
everyone - but no one is using Excel 2003 . We are all still on Excel
2000.

Is here any thing that my colleague needs to do to make her excel
recognize this UDF?
