lookup a value in a table
 

sheet1:
Column A- List of 20 names
Column B one of six offices listed next to each name
Column C various assignments

Sheet2:
I want to show only those names that have "officeX" listed in column B, and
their assignments in the adjacent cell. This information must be on a
seperate sheet, organized by office.

Any help would be appreciated!

how about using data, filter and then copy to the other sheet
