what is the best way to hide code in excel?

I have created a tool at work that required some extensive coding. I'm
being asked to distribute it a bit wider than originally intended. I
want to hide the code so no one can see, edit or hack it.

I obviously have password protected it which blocks it from viewing
etc. but I want to be a bit more secure if possiable. (I've read of
password hacking tools out there.)
What is the best way to protect your code in a workbook?

Thanks,
Jamie

Not all solutions are unbeatable. However, your best defense would b
to pick a really strong password. Something around 10 to 16 character
in length or more using non-repeating letters and numbers. Even th
best crackers out there would have a hard time breaking somthing tha
large.

I develope a lot of worksheets for the company I work for and one thin
I have learned is that many of the people don't care much about what
behind the sheet as long as it works. Most of the password protectio
we use is to keep the formated pages in place so they are not change
by accident. Also, if your company is as large as mine, then you ma
have signed something that states anything you develope on compan
equipment is company property.

Hope this helps, good luck
