Using a combo box to populate rest of a table
I have a table as listed below:
ITEM QTY. UNITS GROUP CATEGORY ALLOWANCE COST Design Costs by Ka Homes Designer 1 EA ? G Drafting Costs 1 EA ? G Duplicating Costs 1 EA ? G Engineering Costs 1 EA ? G Preliminary stake-out 1 EA ? L Site Survey Costs 1 EA ? G Not in Bid / By Owner * Not in Bid / Not Applicable - In another worksheet, I have a combo box that references column A (ITEM). How do I set up the combo box so when I select "Drafting Costs", the column to the right fill in with the corresponding data? The furthest I've gotten is to have only the column to the right of my combo box change, not all of the columns. Thanks Neil |

How about using Data|Validation?
Then you could use a formula like: =if(a1="","",vlookup(a1,sheet2!a:c,2,false)) Debra Dalgleish has some nice instructions at: http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal01.html for Data|validation and instructions for =vlookup() at: http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctions02.html Neil wrote: I have a table as listed below: ITEM QTY.
