What formula can look in multiple workbooks and create a master l.
 
I want a sumIf() type function that will include or exclude worksheets based
on a value within a cell on each worksheet.

use the plus sign with an if statement, one per sheet.

What I've decided to do is create a master link list (data table style) of
each of the worksheets. This will allow me manipulate the data in a table
rather than try to manipulate the original input worksheets. Thanks for your
suggestion though.
