Change information automatically since excel to powerpoint
Hi Luis
you can link between excel & powerpoint, but copying the chart or range in excel, clicking on a slide in powerpoint and choose edit / paste special - LINK. does this give you what you need or do you really need a code solution - if so, could you provide more information on the ranges & location of the charts (are they embedded or in their own sheet) Cheers JulieD "Luis" wrote in message ... Change information automatically since excel to powerpoint
Hi Julie:
I really need when I create a graph in excel this appear automatically in power point, without I need to use the commands copy and paste. I donÂīt know if this is possible using macros. Thank you Luis "JulieD" wrote: Hi Luis you can link between excel & powerpoint, but copying the chart or range in excel, clicking on a slide in powerpoint and choose edit / paste special - LINK. does this give you what you need or do you really need a code solution - if so, could you provide more information on the ranges & location of the charts (are they embedded or in their own sheet) Cheers JulieD "Luis" wrote in message ... Hi Luis
however if you copy & paste special ONCE when creating the powerpoint presentation the graph will always update when you update the excel file. using macros to put a graph from excel into powerpoint just automates the copy / paste procedure but doesn't eliminate it. could you use the copy / paste special LINKS method or do you really need a code solution and if so, how do you know where to put the graph in powerpoint (what presentation / what slide) Cheers JulieD "Luis" wrote in message ...
