run excell macro on add-in menu

Did anyone ever try to run a item from an add-in menu with a macro?
Conventional creation of a macro does not seem to be able to recognize
the add-in.
Any help will be appreciated

thanx

Bob Phillips[_6_]

run excell macro on add-in menu

Do you mean assigning a macro to an add-in menu item (answer, yes, many
times), or trying to run an add-in macro assigned to a menu button (answer,
not to my recollection, but it would just be another macro in that add-in,
so could be called with Application.Run).
