Combine files
Hi All, I regularly run a number of reports which need to be combined into on report and would like to try and automate the process. I can put all the files in a seperate directory on their own to mak the process easier. The required data is only contained within colum A. I need to do the following:- 1) Combine all data from all files in the designated directory 2) remove any rows where column A is blank 3) remove any rows where the entry is "Journal Report" as opposed t the data (Journal Report is the standard header put at the top of eac page) Alternatively for 2 & 3 I could merely remove the first 3 lines fro each file before they are merged. Any help with this would be gladly recieved. Hope I have been clear. Thank Andi :confused -- andibeva ----------------------------------------------------------------------- andibevan's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...nfo&userid=988 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=27731 |
