Exporting columns in excel file to csv format
 

Thank-you for the macro.But where are the csv files getting writen.
tried searching for them in the complete C drive.could not find them.

Is it possible to write the csv files in the same directory where th
excel sheet is located.

Exporting columns in excel file to csv format
 
This logical line:

NewWB.SaveAs Filename:=RefPage.Cells(5, colcount).Value & ".csv", _
FileFormat:=xlCSV, CreateBackup:=False

Says to save it using the string found in row 5 of the column being processed.

So what's in row 5 of each column?

If you're not sure, you could add this line:

msgbox newwb.fullname

right after that saveAs line.
