Excel opens without a visible worksheet
 

I have a number of VBA routines that are in a hidden workbook that is stored
in the XLStart (Program Files\MSOffice\Office\XLStart) directory. Everything
works as intended excect that Excel starts up without a visible worksheet;
the user has to select a new workbook to start using Excel. Can anyone give
me some guidance on this issue?
