I need some help with a workbookI am making. I am fairly capable of most
excel uses, however I am working from someone else's sheet which has a lot of protected cells and I would like to simply make my own that looks the same. But I like how he did his "drop down menu" to change the date, so I need to know how to go about doing that? Would someone have the time to look over this file and give me an idea how I can recreate this? Thanks. Geoff |

Hi,
Are you sure that you need VBA for that ? If you only need a drop down list i would use Validation and then perhaps a lookup formula to retrive the data. http://www.exceltip.com/excel_tips/L...mulas/112.html /Melker "Geoff D'Arcy" skrev i meddelandet news:tZkhd.66081$9b.7048@edtnps84... Drop downs can be created by selecting the cell and doing
Data=Validation then select the list option and specify the location of the list to show in the dropdown. -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Geoff D'Arcy" wrote in message news:tZkhd.66081$9b.7048@edtnps84...
