Paste problems!!!!!!
Using Excel as a server/background application is fraught with problems and
frustrations. MS strongly recommends against it: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;257757 Application.DisplayAlerts does not block macro errors, which is what occurs in this situation. To not get this error you should make sure that only a single cell is selected on the target sheet. If you are using PasteSpecial with a range object (you indicated you weren't but fwiw) make sure the range is only one cell. -- Jim Rech Excel MVP "ramyap" wrote in message ... | | Hi, | | I am writing a .NET application where I need to insert an Excel | sheet into one of the slides. | If I add an OLE object of type excel:sheet & then get a reference to | that object. | | To this I paste data from the clipboard(this is a data from another | excel sheet). | I have set the display alerts to false. | Inspite of this I get a message saying that the data size does not | match.
