Change the template version of a workbook

Hi everyone,

When a new workbook is created from an Excel template, does it keep some
kind of reference to that template? If yes, is it possible to see that
reference and to modify it (for a new version, for example) like it is with
Word?

Thank you.

Excel doesn't do that (like the Reference that Word keeps).
