VB Editor in 2003
I am experiencing unexpected behavior with the VB Editor in Excel
2003. I have a protected project that I open and then unprotect. If I close the Excel file the VBA Project will still be displayed in the VB Editor even though the file is closed. If I open the file again there will be two instances of the project in Project Explorer window. If I close the Excel file and exit Excel I am prompted for the project password. The Excel application is closed but the password dialog box will remain open until the correct password in entered……any ideas???? |

This issue was caused by Google Desktop Search, I uninstalled Google
Desktop search and the unexpected behavior has not occurred again...... (Michael Tatlow) wrote in message om... I am experiencing unexpected behavior with the VB Editor in Excel 2003. I don't believe that this was a coincidence, a colleague who installed Google
desktop experienced the same issues and was able to duplicate the same erratic behavior in excel. "Dave Peterson" wrote: It might have been a coincidence. I don't use google's desktop search and I've seen this occur. In the small times I've seen it, it hasn't caused a problem--but if I'm worried, I'll close excel and reopen.
