Convert excel 5.0 macro

Dear all,

I have a quiet extensive program that has been written for excel 5.0.

Is there a way to convert it to a excel 2000 version. I understand tha
the objects are not recognised and that some VBA statements hav
changed...

Greetings

Convert excel 5.0 macro

Best way is to open it in Excel 2000 and compile it. Research and correct
errors as they occur. Errors should be few, however.

Excel 97 and later use Userforms and a different menu object, but support
those used in Excel 5.0. You shouldn't have to convert those unless you
want to. (menus built with the menu editor can not be permanently altered
except in xl5/95 using the menu editor - there is no menu editor in Excel
2000).
