Saving data
 

Hi,
I am building a spread sheet program using excel 2000.
The program is going to be used on a daily and weekly basis, but all
data inputted and generated will be cleared to make way for new data.
this information entered and results received need to be saved to
accumulate over the year, and some of it to be sent back to the base
program to show accumulations.
I need to save this information automatically outside the base program,
but still keeping it accessible.
Can anyone tell me what is the best way to do this?
I am skilled as far as linking data and spreadsheet info together, and
i have just discovered macros, but that is about it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
