Break up a text file.
 

Hi,

I have a CSV text file which is of size 63 MB. Around 300,000 records.
My task is to break it up into smaller files, for example each with
size 8 MB.

Any help in this regards is much appreciated.

Hi
one way: use a text editor (e.g. Ultraedit) to split the file.
also try a google search for 'file splitting'. There're several tools
available for free
