Help with Macro Recorder Please
Could someone please provide an explanation to why the macros that I play back do things differently than when I perform the steps manually in record mode? The main difference usually revolves around me deleting columns and then pasting some cell contents... For example: If I delete columns C, D, and E and then paste something in cell N16, 17, and 18...the deletion of the columns works but the info gets pasted into another column such as L16, 17, and 18. Can you post the code? I suspect that the rows you are deleting are being re-indexed during the delete, resulting in the incorrect addressing Nick Hodge "Hulk" wrote: Could someone please provide an explanation to why the macros that I play back do things differently than when I perform the steps manually in record mode? What does the code look like? Please post it. Obviously it needs some changes.
One possibility is to paste before you delete.
