Screen shots capture

Hi all

anyone recommend a high quality way of capturing a screen shot of an XL
worksheet for copying as an image into a microsoft publisher file then
turning it into an acrobat which i use PrimoPDF to do

Currently i am doing a PrtSc then copying it into a Word document and
then passing this to a colleague who is creating the Publisher file on
another PC

Is the current method merely adequate but could be enhanced by some way
or is there some free software downloadable on the internet that does
screen caps really beautifully

the resolution of the screen shots is not quite as good as the jpeg logo
i have placed next to it either in print or on screen

TIA

matt

Whenever I want a screenshot, I simply use the
<Alt-Printscreen key combination to send the screenshot
to the clipboard. I then use the Paste function of the
destination application to drop in the screenshot. I get
good quality every time.

Hope this helps.

Matt,

I use "SnagIt", which I can highly recommend. Here's a link for the site
http://www.techsmith.com/products/snagit/default.asp

I've had a look at this just now and there's a COM add-in that suggest you
could access the capture features programatically, but this is beyond my
experience!

Anyway, hope it helps

John
