![]() Thanks Tom, it's always appreciated when code can be simplified, i helps me learn!! The "Hide" then "Show" was just something that seemed to work - I'm no very experienced so if it works I tend to leave it (for now anyway!). It seems most of the examples of userforms interact with cells on th worksheet, but I wanted to use it as a kind of decision maker (eg, d you want to do this or do that?) which in turn configures an array tha has to be passed back to the procedure from which the userform was firs called from.
