Access Mask equivalent?
Hi
Can anyone please tell me if Excel has the equivalent of the Mask in Access? Also, is it possible to format a cell so that if a number is entered e.g. 123, it is automatically prefixed with three letters? e.g. ABC123 -- Cheers Peter Remove the INVALID to reply |

There's no masking function. If you apply the custom format "ABC"#, it will
display with your prefix. But that prefix isn't part of the data. On Wed, 06 Oct 2004 23:41:13 +0100, Peter wrote: Hi Can anyone please tell me if Excel has the equivalent of the Mask in Access?
