Just trying to figure out how to have multiple users log-in wit
different passwords, and know who's logged in so I can unprotect tha
range.

Don't think the GetUserName is going to work on our network...

Yeah, multiple simultaneous users is difficult. You could
make them wait. You tried the GetUserName API and
couldn't get a name? If my clients brought the app home,
GetUserName wouldn't produce a match to a lookup table of
names, so I'd prompt them to manually enter a logon id.
Sounds like you need an Access solution.
