Default VBA Excel

Is there a list of acceptable/unacceptable commands/source code that
Excel will/will not do?

I am just starting out in writing my own macros instead of just
recording them.

Thank you for your help.

Have a great day!

Judy,
I would get a reputable book on Excel VBA and start
following good habits and practices from the book. Can't
think of a single source that you are wondering about.
Good luck.

Best source is the Object Browser in the VBE and the help file.

Dave McRitchie's site

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel....htm#tutorials

The VBA tutorial links start after the Excel tutorial links.
